The education profile of the department is the process engineering (CAPE: Computer Aided Process Engineering), including:
- The modelling and simulation of the technological and production systems,
- control theory and practice, process control,
- process design and development using modern techniques.
We cover the full spectrum of education and in research the areas that are most closely related to the traditions and talents of the department are covered. Depending on the profile of the department, in many cases we take on the role of a "bridge" between technology and control engineering professionals and disciplines. Our graduates are present in almost all domestic chemical companies and occupy of key positions, and they also work in large numbers with large domestic companies specializes in process control.
In BSc and MSc in Mechatronic Engineering, students will learn about Control Engineering, Safety Critical Systems, Design of Mechatronic Systems, Process Engineering Tools, and Advanced Process Control Techniques.
