We would like to arouse your interest in the teaching and research work of our department. The department has been teaching and researching process engineering methods and tools for over 30 years,  with an emphasis on deep theoretical foundations and industrial applications of process engineering. The department's research communit and the department's network of contacts provide a good background for engineering education, industrial application and scientific results. As a member of the Institute of Chemical and Process Engineering, the department is responsible for training chemical engineers accredited by international institutions (IChemE, FEANI), and is involved in advanced engineering in the fields of material engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, mechatronic engineering and chemical engineering. We are currently in the process of introducing other subjects to our curriculum. The staff of the department is in the field of computer science. exploiting the potential of information technology, interpreting chemical technology as a hierarchical system of interacting molecules, synthesizes scientific, operational, technological and control engineering knowledge and integrates these results in the development, design, operation, and management of technology to solve specific engineering tasks.
